First Subscribers Program Terms

1. Scope
These terms govern the Lex Alert “First Subscribers” program (the “Program”). They supplement the Terms of Service. On the matters they cover, these terms take precedence over the Terms of Service.
You accept these terms when you subscribe, by ticking the consent box on the payment page.
2. Definitions
- Free period - the period in which the Platform is free to use.
- End of the free period - 18 January 2027, 09:00 Bulgarian time, or a later date announced under section 7.
- First subscriber subscription - a subscription to a paid plan created through the Platform before the end of the free period.
- First subscriber - a user whose first subscriber subscription has been successfully charged at least once.
3. Who can take part
- Any registered user who subscribes to a paid plan before the end of the free period. The number of participants is not limited.
- Each person (natural or legal) may take part with one account. Creating several accounts to receive the perks more than once is not allowed.
- First subscriber status belongs to the account. It cannot be transferred to another account or person and cannot be exchanged for money.
4. Perks

- The discount is applied automatically and shown before payment.
- As of this version, the discounted prices are: Personal €4.50/month (€45/year) instead of €7.50 (€75); Professional €15/month (€150/year) instead of €25 (€250).
- The perks cannot be combined with other promotion codes or discounts.
5. First charge and becoming a first subscriber
- Your card is not charged before the end of the free period.
- At least 7 days before the first charge you will receive an email with its date and amount.
- Until the first charge you can cancel the subscription at any time at no cost.
- First subscriber status is acquired with the first successful payment. If the subscription is cancelled before it, no status is acquired. After the end of the free period, the status cannot be acquired again.
6. Changing plans
Changing plans - up or down, or between monthly and annual billing - does not end the status. The perk of the new plan under section 4 applies: 2 rules when moving to Basic; 40% off again when moving back to Personal or Professional.
7. Postponing the end of the free period
- The Provider may postpone the end of the free period to a later date. Bringing it forward is not allowed.
- We will email you about the new date at least 7 days before the first charge. The date on this page is updated.
- Postponing is not a change to these terms and does not require new consent.
8. How long the perks last
The perks apply as long as the subscription continues without a break.
First subscriber status is lost permanently when the subscription ends, including on:
- cancellation by the user (at the end of the paid period);
- non-payment, once the automatic payment retries are exhausted;
- deletion of the account;
- termination by the Provider under section 11 of the Terms of Service.
The status is not lost on:
- withdrawing a scheduled cancellation before the end of the paid period;
- a temporarily late payment while the automatic payment retries continue;
- a plan change (section 6).
Once the status is lost, a new subscription is at the current prices without perks.
9. Price changes
The discount is a percentage of the plan’s current price. The Provider may change prices under section 13 of the Terms of Service; the change is announced by email in advance, before it applies to your subscription. The 40% discount is kept on the new price.
10. Keeping the perks
The Provider will not unilaterally withdraw or reduce the perks of first subscribers. The exception is termination under section 11 of the Terms of Service (breach of the terms, abuse, non-payment).
The Program closes to new participants automatically at the end of the free period.
11. Changes to these terms
New versions are published at lexalert.bg/en/first-subscribers-terms with a number and date. A new version cannot worsen the position of users who have already subscribed without their explicit consent. All previous versions remain available (this version: lexalert.bg/en/first-subscribers-terms/v1).
12. Language
These terms are drawn up in Bulgarian and English. If the two versions differ, the Bulgarian version prevails.
